BROOMFIELD, Colo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Brother Mobile Solutions, Inc. (BMS) a wholly-owned subsidiary of Brother International Corporation, has announced it will feature its full-page PocketJet® and small-format RuggedJet® mobile printers now with AirPrint™, as well as its new Rugged Carry Cases, at IACP 2014, October 25-28, Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida. IACP 2014 is the 121st Annual Conference and Exposition sponsored by the International Association of Chiefs of Police and is focused on a wide range of products, solutions and technology for law enforcement and public safety agencies.
“Reliable mobile wireless printing has become a must-have for public safety agencies, especially for law enforcement officers and other personnel who perform rapid transactions on the go,” says Ravi Panjwani, VP Marketing and Product Management for Brother Mobile Solutions.
Panjwani adds: “Whether the need is for in-vehicle full-page thermal printers to generate e-citations, Amber Alerts and accident reports, or handheld 3-inch or 4-inch wide mobile printers for e-citations, parking tickets, evidence receipts and labels, there’s an affordable Brother printer to serve the need. We’ve earned our reputation as a premier provider of mobile solutions in this market by engineering printers that help law enforcement officers focus on doing their jobs and staying safe, with the technology operating reliably in the background.”
In addition, Brother announces its membership in the eCitation Coalition, an industry organization that promotes an innovative, ROI driven approach to electronic citation systems for state and local governments. The approach, which helps assist law enforcement agencies and courts with funding e-citation systems, has been adopted in Illinois, Tennessee and Virginia, and has received strong support from local governments, circuit court clerks, and police and sheriff’s departments around the country.
